Squawk Ident PROFESSIONAL PILOT March 2016 25 This is an exciting time to be in the market for a new aircraft under 20M In my dream selection its a close race between the Challenger 300 Citation Latitude and Legacy 450 or the 500 After long study my preferred choice is the Latitude because of its clean design high speed long range short field performance and latest Garmin avionics on the panel Checking published prices Im pleased to see the Citation Latitude costs less than the others Its also backed up by Citations fine customer support Stephen Stilling ATP Citation Excel Chief Pilot TRMSI Abington PA Currently we fly a KA 200 so for me the ideal step up aircraft would be the Beech King Air 350i And with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 standard on the KA 350 that is fine since Im an RC fan However I would like to add a top synthetic vision system SVS Douglas Harding ATP CFII King Air 200 C182 Chief Pilot Hope Flight Foundation Harding Pilot Services Castro Valley CA Embraer Legacy jets are fast and efficient I think the Legacy 500 would be a perfect addition to our flight dept with its fully digital FBW flight controls and the largest cabin in its category Marcin Korona ATP Learjet 75 Embraer 145 Captain MHS Travel and Charter Saint Charles MO I would add the Gulfstream G650 Were currently flying an Embraer Legacy 600 and while its a fine aircraft we frequently fall short on desired nonstop range So the additional range of the G650 would work out well plus the super galley aboard the Gulfstream 650 would also be a fine addition so we could have good well prepared food on our long distance flights Of course backup from Gulfstream especially for AOG support is legendary Jay Brentzel ATP Embraer Legacy 600 Chief Pilot HSMM Carlsbad CA Until this past July I would have answered that I would like to add a Phenom 300 to our fleet But then we did So now everyone here is very happy with this new aircraft and besides the fine flight characteristics of the Phenom 300 we especially like the panel avionics that is the Garmin G1000 Prodigy system James Smith ATP CFII Embraer Phenom 300 Manager TJ Aero Atlanta GA There will always be something that can go higher or faster or have even more equipment but what we have right now gets us to where we want to go comfortably quickly efficiently and safely And that aircraft is a Pilatus PC12 47e very dependable single engine turboprop Hugh Stratten Comm Multi Inst CFI Pilatus PC12 47e Captain SCI Tanzania Dar Es Salaam Tanzania
